Larry on tv, In N Out and other adventures.

So nothing new has been happening since my last post.  We are still unemployed but trying to make the best of it.  I have been applying for at least one job a day though I haven't heard anything positive back.  Mostly a lot of your qualifications do not match what we need.  Although we haven't had an developments in the job situation we have been keeping busy.  Last Monday Lorelai went on her first ever field trip and I was blessed enough to be able to chaperone.  We went to In N Out where they showed us how they actually make all those yummy burgers.  And we were all served burgers and fries at ..........9:30am.  I definitely felt like a fat kid eating a burger at 9:30 in the morning but it sure was good.

Going to In N Out was not the only adventure that the Adams' family got to partake in last week.  A couple of weeks ago, police raided a house that was down the street from ours. The raid was the whole nine yards with a flash bomb, police dogs, swat and megaphones.  It was definitely an interesting event that happen to fall on the same day that Larry got laid off.  It helped take our minds off the fact that we now did not have an income.  Well, on Friday, Channel 13 news (which is ABC Las Vegas), sent out a reporter to report on the event.  (Yes, two weeks after it occured.  Makes you wonder how current other news stories are.)  They interviewed Larry and that afternoon, Larry was a TV star.  Click on the link to check it out if you haven't seen it.

The last thing is I know that I have not shared a recipe in a long time.  That is because I haven't really made anything that was really worth sharing.  But today I found a recipe for tuna cakes that turned out really good.  I actually got the recipe from Kraft.  I didn't deviate from the recipe at all, so if you want to try it out, just click on the Kraft to get the recipe.  I didn't take any pictures of the food but there are pictures on the website that I got it from.  I made mashed sweet potatoes and a green salad it go with it. Hope you guys enjoy.
